Something I had not expected, but enjoyed watching, was how many people felt the desire to reach out and touch the ropes, often pointing out to their friends which ropes were their favorites. (This was especially true here where people could get up close without seating getting in the way.) I like the idea that the ropes are very accessible and inviting. At one point I stopped by the library and discovered someone had braided several sets of ropes together.
