Comments: Many of the works in this series were just playful explorations of patterns and shapes. I would often set out a challenge for myself like trying to draw a little irregular shape but try to vary the length of every line segment as you go. Then on another scale you have a family of related shapes but no two are the same. It is also one of the things I have been doing with the bars and windows in my work for years -- trying to maximize the variety of the size and shape of the windows.
